Experiences of Divine Connection: Miracles and Teachings of Guru Ji

Being the first South African couple to get married at our Ashram in India with the blessings of our great Guru Ji, it gives Lash and me, Viresh, immense honor to share on paper the miracles and experiences with the father of our people, Guru Ji.
Our First Consultation
Our first consultation with Guru Ji is forever stamped in our memories. Guru Ji was in Bombay at the time, and we were among around forty people there to see him. Lash and I were anxious and afraid, thinking that we must be prepared with our questions for Guru Ji, so we wrote down all the questions we wanted to ask him. Everyone in that room was nervous, including us. The first names to be called were Viresh and Lash. Our hearts were pounding with excitement and anticipation. We had prepared five questions, all written down in our book. All I could think of was that we worship Guru Ji through his photo, and now we were about to see him in person. “Amazing” was the word that kept running through my mind.
We walked in, bowed down, and Guru Ji looked at us and smiled. Govind Dada was there to translate from Hindi to English for us. Guru Ji opened his book and started writing in Hindi, from point one to five, amazingly covering all the questions we had. He had already written the answers down in his book and then started talking to us, granting us whatever we wanted to ask. Only Lash and I knew what we had written in our book, and Guru Ji had answered them all in the same order.
Experience at the Ashram
It was late evening when we first arrived at the Ashram. We made ourselves comfortable as it was a cold winter in Delhi. Our room was upstairs, with a huge balcony where we could admire the Ashram. We stood on the balcony, looking at the blessed holy pathway where people come from far and wide to rid themselves of evil spirits. It was amazing to see so many people, from children to adults, being healed by just sitting on this pathway and praying to Guru Ji.
As we prepared to walk around the Ashram, Lash mentioned she felt like having a tasty pizza or a burger. I told her we would see about it later. As we came down, we saw Guru Ji walking toward us. This was the second time we saw Guru Ji in India, the first being in Bombay. As Guru Ji walked toward us, we bowed to greet him. He looked straight at Lash and asked if she would like to have a pizza or a burger. It was as if Guru Ji knew everything we talked about and needed. Lash was in shock and didn’t know what to say. These incidents may not seem significant to many, but to us, it confirmed that Guru Ji is so powerful that he knows our needs and will never let any of his devotees go hungry, whether in India or anywhere else in the world.
“People who have businesses or jobs often ask Guru Ji about earning more money. Guru Ji may not grant that immediately, but he will always ensure his devotees have sufficient funds to put food on the table. NO DEVOTEE GOES HUNGRY.”
This was just one experience of meeting Guru Ji for the first time. We have had many other experiences before and after meeting Guru Ji. There is one thing we want devotees to remember: “If we absorb what Guru Ji teaches us and practice it, we will see the light. Just as a plant needs to absorb water to grow and bear fruit, we need to absorb Guru Ji’s teachings to grow strong and reap the benefits.”
