Blessed by Divinity: Guru Maharaj’s Miraculous Transformation of Our Lives

By the special grace of the supreme deity, Shri Lakshmi Narayan, my family and I have had the privilege of being in the holy presence of Shri Guru Maharaj Ji for nearly 25 years. Our Swami, Shri Guru Sureshwaracharya Ji Maharaj, was the embodiment of the divine in human form. When we first met Guruji in 1983 in Kathal Muzaffarpur, Delhi, our family was in a state of deprivation. However, his divine light brought happiness and prosperity into our lives.

At that time, my husband had a modest job with a meager salary. Providing a good upbringing for four children and building a nice home in a place like Delhi seemed impossible. But with Shri Gurudev’s blessings, everything fell into place beyond our understanding. In 1986, when we expressed our desire to build our own home, Guru Maharaj Ji blessed us and simply said, “Start building your house. If you run out of money, come to me for eight thousand rupees.” It was his blessing that we started building our home with just ₹3,300, and today it stands in good condition.

One significant incident involved my younger son, who suffered from severe leg pain at the age of two. I was distressed, but Guru Maharaj Ji reassured me, saying, “Do not worry. I will not let the child’s life be ruined.” With his miraculous powers, he healed my son in just two hours. As a precaution, he advised us to give him a little tonic. Today, by Guruji’s grace, my son is an engineer working in a company in Hong Kong.

Another critical moment was when my elder son, at the age of eight, suddenly fell from the roof. He was taken to Pant Hospital, where the doctors suggested immediate surgery for the pain in the back of his head. The success of this operation was uncertain. Once again, I turned to Shri Maharaj Ji, weeping at his feet. He comforted me, saying, “Why are you worried? Do you not have faith in me? After all, why are we here?” He then touched the back of my son’s head and neck and instructed us to get another X-ray. He assured us that if the doctors still recommended surgery, we should come back to him.

Following his instructions, we had another X-ray taken, and the doctors then concluded that surgery was not necessary. Today, that same son is 28 years old and, by Guruji’s grace, has been traveling abroad and working in a good company with a high salary since the age of 22.

I am still working, and my two daughters are also leading successful lives thanks to Guruji’s blessings. My younger daughter completed her MCA and is working in a good company. Both daughters’ marriages were celebrated with great respect and honor. Our beloved Shri Brijmohanacharya Ji Maharaj continues to perform sacred duties and is omnipresent in the Ashram. Every disciple’s heart is his residence. Our current Peethadhishwar Swami Ji is the recipient of his divine grace.
