Divine Protection: How Guruji’s Grace Shielded Us from a Bomb Blas

On April 20, 1996, at 8:45 PM, my brother Arun Gambhir, his wife Renu Gambhir, and their sons Jitin and Mohit were leaving their shop in Paharganj for a relative’s wedding. Just then, our father called out to them from behind to make sure they knew the wedding location and the route. As soon as my brother, sister-in-law, and the children turned towards the shop, there was a loud explosion—a bomb blast.

The blast caused all the surrounding shops to collapse, and it is likely that no one survived in the rubble of those shops. However, our shop fell backward instead of forward. The front part, where our office was located, remained intact. It was evident that our Guruji’s presence had protected us. If our father had not called out to them, they would not have turned around and would have been caught in the blast. They were saved because Narayan, in the form of our revered Guruji, was there to protect us.

This is a testament to Guruji’s grace, which has been safeguarding our family at every step. I express my heartfelt gratitude to him. We always tell everyone:

“We don’t worry about ourselves, they worry about us. Why should we worry when the protector is Sudarshan Chakra-bearing Lord?”
