The Miraculous Protection by Guru Maharaj

When you call upon Guruji with faith, he appears in an instant, from any corner of the world, to avert any crisis. The following incident proves this.
In November 1998, nine of our family members were traveling by car to Vaishno Devi. We informed Guruji at the Ashram about our journey, and Guruji, without looking at us, gently said, “Go.” While driving on the road to Vaishno Devi, I fell asleep at the wheel. Our car veered off the road, collided with the side of a hill, and then ran into a field, crashing into a tree. The car was severely damaged, with the steering wheel embedded into the roof. The locals working in the fields helped us out. Though the crash was severe, we kept chanting “Jai Gurudev” while lying on the road.
Miraculously, a gentleman arrived and assured us that the entire family was safe. He then took us to Parmad Nursing Home in Ropar. He arranged for our complete checkup, provided us with food, medicines, milk bottles for the children, and served us until midnight without charging any money. He said, “If you insist on paying, I will leave.” In today’s world, such selfless service without any prior acquaintance is only possible due to Guruji’s grace.
We then contacted our brother Sunil Narang in Delhi to inform Guruji about our accident. Guruji said, “Tell Sunil that I am watching over everyone from here; everyone is fine. The family will arrive safely at the Ashram tomorrow.” We were still in the nursing home in Ropar. The police officers who came to investigate were surprised to find us alive.
The next day, on November 21, 1998, we went to the Ashram and expressed our gratitude to Guruji. Upon seeing us, Guruji said, “Brother! My Thakur Ji reached on time. Was there any lack of anything?” We realized our mistake in not seeking permission from the Ashram before embarking on our journey to Vaishno Devi. The person who helped us, Puran Singh, is the owner of New Doaba Sweets in Sector 10, Chandigarh. He mentioned that every time he thought of leaving the accident site, something stopped him. Puran Singh had lost vision in one eye due to a road accident, and despite treatment from various doctors, there was no improvement. Brother Sunil Narang promised to pray for him at the Ashram.
We prayed at Guruji’s feet for Puran Singh’s recovery. A year later, on November 19, 1999, when we called Puran Singh, he said that his eye, which every doctor had given up on, was 90% healed. Puran Singh said, “With Guruji’s immense grace, I will surely come to see Guruji.”
We have complete faith that Guruji is with us at every moment.
