The Divine Interventions of Gurudev

In 1998, we had invited the Mayor to a school function. Due to some reasons, the Mayor could not attend the ceremony. As soon as I reached the ceremony, Shri Guru Maharaj said to me, “The Mayor has arrived.” I was surprised as the Mayor had not come. Then Shri Guru Maharaj said, “You are our Mayor.” Indeed, a little while later, with his blessings, I became the Senior Deputy Mayor. I had never dreamed that I could ever become the Senior Deputy Mayor. It was all due to the grace of Shri Guru Maharaj.

During my career, the opposition party filed a case against me in the High Court. The sequence of my case being heard in the court would always be delayed, sometimes being the 150th or 175th on the list. I prayed to Shri Guru Maharaj. He told me, “Don’t worry, the decision will be in your favor.” This time, my case was surprisingly listed as the third one. And, as predicted, the court’s decision was indeed in my favor.

While standing in the court, some of my documents fell. Someone picked them up and handed them to me. I thanked the person. The allegations made by my opponents were dismissed. When I met Shri Guru Maharaj after the court hearing, he told me that he was present in the court during the hearing. He said, “I was the one who picked up your fallen documents and handed them to you.” Truly, Shri Guru Maharaj was omniscient. He knew the hearts of all and was present everywhere, protecting his devotees in every way.
