Miraculous Parenthood: Guru Maharaj’s Divine Blessing After Years of Heartache

For 14 years, despite our persistent efforts and dedication in terms of time, money, and mental energy, we did not achieve what Guruji granted us in just 14 days. Since 1983, I had been seeking the best medical treatment for my wife. During this period, we faced the heartbreaking loss of seven pregnancies, ranging from three months to seven months. We were turned away from three hospitals, being told that there was no other treatment available in India. Wherever we sought help, we faced disappointment, with all our tests and treatments leading nowhere.

Doctors found that a virus named “Diseaz Plasma” was killing the unborn babies, and we tried every possible treatment, including an extensive course of a medication called Remvamisir for 40 days. Despite these efforts, the pregnancies always ended in loss.

By 1995, it seemed like our hopes were crushed. When a significant amount of blood was lost during one pregnancy, it was found that the fetus was dead. We were advised not to attempt another pregnancy, as it could be life-threatening for my wife. The pain and suffering during each pregnancy were heart-wrenching, and we decided to give up hope.

One doctor, after reviewing all our test reports and treatments, suggested that besides medications, seeking divine intervention might be our best chance. A woman who had previously visited Shri Siddhadata Ashram with my wife praised Guruji highly. She insisted that we should visit the Ashram just once. On January 5, 1997, we visited the Ashram. The sermons on the glory of Naam (the divine name) and the bhajan-kirtan (devotional singing) by Guruji deeply impressed me, and I started believing that this might work for us.

After returning home, the teachings and songs kept replaying in my mind. Though I was not musically inclined, I started humming the devotional songs, pleading for Guruji’s blessings. Miraculously, 14 days after our visit to the Ashram, my wife became pregnant again. This time, I placed all my faith in Guruji.

On October 23, 1997, we went to the hospital early in the morning. Initially, the doctors suggested an operation. This seemed contradictory to the hope Guruji had instilled in us. Remembering Guruji’s words that true faith and sincere prayers bring results, I began chanting Guruji’s name loudly and sang devotional songs. Suddenly, the cries from the labor room ceased. At 1:05 PM, the nurse announced the birth of a perfectly healthy baby girl through normal delivery. Our joy knew no bounds, and we firmly believed that Guruji’s divine intervention had saved us.

This miraculous event solidified our faith in Guruji, proving that true devotion and the Guru’s blessings can indeed make the impossible possible.
