A Journey of Healing and Faith Under Guruji’s Grace

I first came to this Gaddi in March 1999, during a year when my life took a turn for the worse. I suffered a second heart attack and experienced severe, unexplained pain in my hands and legs. My daughter, who was 11 years old at the time, also suffered from pneumonia and severe wheezing. To make matters worse, I lost my job.

Through the help of friends, I came to this Gaddi. I still remember attending satsang every week in a small room. Dada would speak about Guruji, and afterward, we would sing Guruji’s Bhajans. Dada addressed everyone’s problems each week, praying for me and advising me to attend satsang regularly. My health gradually improved, and over time, I was able to start my own business. My daughter was also cured of her pneumonia and wheezing.

For three years, my business blossomed, and I was financially secure. However, in 2002, things took another bad turn. My business failed, and I was hospitalized for a third heart attack. My health deteriorated rapidly, and I was diagnosed with diabetes. I underwent major heart surgery, resulting in the implantation of two stents in my major arteries. While recovering in the hospital, the keys to my business were taken away, resulting in a significant financial loss.

By Guruji’s grace, my health improved, though I was left in great debt to many banks. I had to go to court and was issued an administration order, meaning I would be paying off my debts for many years. After losing the business, I was unemployed for a year. This was a very difficult time for my family, as we relied on my wife’s income to meet our needs, including my daughter’s university expenses. After a year, by the grace of Guruji, I secured a temporary job. In 2006, this temporary job became permanent.

Although I have not made the trip to India to see our beloved Guruji, he answered my prayers in my dreams and assured me that everything would be fine. It was through devotion, patience, prayer, and attending satsang every week that carried me through this journey.

It took me 10 long years to understand and witness the grace of Guruji and God. Today, I have been promoted in my permanent job. My administration order was canceled, and the lawyers have not asked me for money since. I am now driving a new car, replacing the old one I drove for 18 years. I am also grateful to see my daughter qualify with honors as a speech-language pathologist. All of this could only happen with the grace of Guruji. I have weathered the odds, and now my life is taking a turn for greater expectations.
