The Boundless Grace and Miracles of Shri Sadguru Maharaj

Sometimes, Shri Sadguru, like Lord Narayana, shows special favor to his dedicated and surrendered disciples and devotees, granting them blessings that may not even be written in their destiny. I heard this from Shri Sadguru Maharaj among the saints of Chandni Chowk in 1995. These words, spoken from the divine lips of Shri Sadguru Maharaj, are true—100% true. A living example of this truth is this humble servant (Sudarshan Narayan Kumar), who has been dedicated to the feet of Shri Sadguru Maharaj since 1992.
In September 1998, my younger son Anuj was struck by a dreadful illness. His hands and feet twisted, he lost his voice, and his entire body became inactive. His neck started to droop. We consulted all the major hospitals in Delhi—Medical, Apollo, Livingstone. He was admitted to well-known hospitals for almost three months, but the doctors couldn’t help. As soon as we brought him home, his condition would worsen again. I kept visiting the Ashram regularly.
In January 1999, Shri Guru Maharaj performed a yajna in the yajna shala for Anuj and provided a protective amulet. He told us that 95% of the issue was caused by divine elements, but he had mitigated the remaining 5% of the defect. He said that the child would be healthy and have a long life. Guru Maharaj’s blessings were so profound that even though the doctors had given up and said that the child might never regain his strength and might live a compromised life, our faith in Guru Maharaj’s grace never wavered.
During the illness, we were so distressed that we prayed to Shri Sadguru Maharaj to either heal our child or take him back, as we couldn’t bear to see him suffer. Guru Maharaj assured us that he was not so harsh or insensitive and that he shared in our sorrow. His words were fulfilled, and my state of mind was like that of a mother who endures nine months of pain to see her child and then forgets all the suffering. Guru Maharaj stays awake at night, remembering, performing yajnas, and enduring hardships for his disciples and devotees. If any disciple or devotee forgets his great kindness, it deeply saddens Shri Guru Maharaj, much like a mother who feels heartbroken if her child forgets her.
The truth is, Shri Sadguru Maharaj is our mother, father, brother, and friend, always present with his devotees in a subtle form and granting us the vision of Lord Narayana himself. Our Guru is blessed, Shri Yugaadhi Guru is blessed, who are the recipients of Shri Sadguru Maharaj’s grace, and we are all blessed to have such a divine form of Shri Sadguru Maharaj.
