A Miraculous Healing: The Story of Meeth Aidasani’s Recovery

Soni Aidasani was blessed with her second son, Meeth Aidasani, on December 29, 2007. Everything was fine until the second day after Meeth’s birth when the doctors in Dubai, UAE, informed us that they could hear a murmur in his heart, and his breathing was not normal. Since he was only two days old, the doctors advised us to come back for a detailed checkup when he was three months old.
After 40 days, I took Meeth to India for a detailed investigation, where it was diagnosed that he had a 2.5mm hole in his heart, medically termed as an “Atrial Septal Defect.” This condition, caused by the hole in the heart, results in low oxygen levels and a high flow of impure blood in the body, leading to increased fatigue and other related illnesses. The only way to cure this was through a heart operation to close the hole, typically done around the age of two years.
I knew exactly where I needed to take him next. Without any further delay, my mother and I took him to the Ashram and prayed to Swami Ji, explaining the entire problem. Swami Ji assured me that he would pray for him.
The test was to be repeated after a few months to check the progress in his recovery. I flew back to Lucknow with a very nervous heart and took him to the pathology and to the doctor who was to conduct the test under sedation for him, in a pitch-dark room. The feeling was scary, with my 10-month-old in this situation, but something inside me assured me that things would get better; the faith never failed.
The doctor took approximately 45 minutes to conduct the test. While anxiously waiting for his response, I wondered why it was taking so long and why he wasn’t speaking at all. After a long wait, I finally heard the result, which was beyond my expectations. I had hoped that the hole might have shrunk somewhat.
Quoting the doctor: “God is really kind to you… I can’t believe this myself… there is no hole in the heart; it has closed on its own, and that’s what was taking me so long to check why it wasn’t showing.”
I came out of the dark room with tears of joy and gratitude towards our Guruji, who I knew had performed this miracle. We shared the news with the entire family, and everyone was overwhelmed. Our family cannot thank our Guruji enough for all that he has done for us. Such incidents are numerous, but I wanted to share this one to remind us all that what science and medicine cannot achieve, our master can accomplish with his spiritual strength.
We are blessed to be in the fold of such a Master, who does so much for all of us each day and guides us through all of life’s situations and challenges.
JAI GURU DEV!!!
