  1. Human nature is mended and rectified with modesty, tenderness, and remembrance of Guru.
  2. Lies in behavior cause heavy losses in life instead of any gains.
  3. Speaking the truth and becoming human (from within) is the greatest worship of Guru.
  4. The world may not know about our inner sins, but be sure they are very much known to Guru and the Lord.
  5. You will be respecting the Guru if you look towards his holy feet while speaking to Him.
  6. Never talk too much in the presence of your Guru.
  7. Pure love towards your Guru is the real form of observing his orders.
  8. Always offer your most valued and precious things to your Guru first. This will destroy your attachment to worldly things.
  9. A disciple should not be full of jealousy, pride, and malice. He should be contented and full of patience. He should have strong faith in his Guru and be determined to know the truth.
  10. Disciples should never look for Guru’s faults.

  15. By remembrance and prayers within short intervals, you will find the path which helps you meet the Lord fast. Laziness takes you there but late.
  16. There are three resources: Remembrance, Service, and Meditation. But remembrance and service, which is free from any wish (nishkam seva), are important among the three. Every pious man should have these qualities within themselves.
  17. More Desire = More Problems, More Pleasures = More Sickness, More Comforts = More Worries. People who worship Lord Narayan and Guru have love, pacification, mercy, and faith in Lord Narayan and Guru.

  19. The soul, the portion or part, is the drop of the Ocean, The Lord, but has forgotten its origin because of long separation. Tis is the basic reason for all the problems. When the drop will permeate into the ocean, that will be the end of all problems.
  20. We get this human form with the causeless blessings (Ahetu Kripa) of the Almighty. That Lord is within us and can be realized in human form only.

  38. Whatever he orders you to do, you should follow his instructions/orders wholeheartedly.
  39. This type of obedience is a MUST for a disciple towards his Guru. This is the feeling of deed without any wish. This type of work is done only to follow the divine orders of Guru and not expecting anything in return. Only then can those five thieves be driven away.
  40. The disciple, who has the following four artifices, is eligible to sit in front of his Guru (who is no different from the Lord) and listen to his divine words:
    1. Conscious: The energy to understand the difference between soul and soulless, regular and irregular, deed and bad action, etc.
    1. Asceticism: Free from worldly affairs and sensual pleasures.
    1. Six Substances: Quietness (free from wishes, peace of mind), Self-Restraint (control over senses), Disinterestedness (displeasure in worldly pleasure), Patience (stamina to remain calm in any condition), Faith, and Meditation (resolute condition of the mind away from outer attractions).
    1. Wishing Salvation: Intense desire for self-realization and salvation.
  41. The eyes, which cannot see the beauty of the Holy Lotus Feet of Guru, are actually blind.
  42. The ears, which cannot listen to Guru’s greatness, are actually deaf.
  43. Life without a Guru is like death.
  44. There is no other treasure equal to Guru’s Grace.
  45. Guru’s satsang/discourse is the only safe boat to sail out of this worldly ocean.
  46. There is no better friend than a Spiritual Guru.
  47. There is no shelter other than Guru’s Holy Lotus Feet.
  48. One should always keep chanting Guru’s name.
  49. Always remember your Guru; only then will you get real peace and pleasures.

  64. Take Guru’s shelter and follow the True path only. The True path is the one shown by Guru.
  65. Always perform your duties and have strong faith in Guru’s Grace.
  66. Opposing Guru’s orders/instructions means digging your own grave.
  67. Guru showers his blessings constantly upon his disciples without any expectations.
  68. Guru, who makes you meet and know yourself, is Jagadguru, and his heart is a place full of beauty.

  70. Make stairs out of the stones on your path to walk over them and do not consider them as roadblocks.
  71. Illusion (Maya), a dancer (Nartaki), will stop dancing only after overturning it, i.e., with Kirtan, i.e., singing in Lord’s praise.

  73. The real meaning of desire/greed is dissatisfaction with what you have and expectations for what you don’t have.

  83. Guru’s remembrance is the Royal Path for obtaining Godliness, which takes the disciples straight to the aim of celestial life.
  84. Guru’s remembrance is a mysterious ladder, which takes disciples straight to Heaven from this earth.
  85. Progress in the spiritual world is not possible for disciples without remembering the Lotus Feet of Guru.
  86. Regular remembrance of Guru opens the doors of self-knowledge; the mind becomes cool, strong, and firm, and the inward spirit/soul is awakened.
  87. Desire for revenge finishes all of our virtues.
  88. Guru-worship becomes stout and strong where customs and thoughts are pure.
  89. Worshipping Lord and Guru is not for wealth and prosperity but necessary for the purification of the mind.
  90. Guru and the Lord like your love from the heart and not your money.
  91. You should always offer everything to Lord and Guru’s holy feet and then accept it as a boon.
  92. The one who explains with nice behavior instead of words is the real Sadguru.
  93. The one who is always ready to help the poor, weak, neglected, and calamitous is the one nearest to the Lord.
  94. In the light of simplicity, everything is clear and lucid.
  95. To become somebody, one has to efface or erase himself. Without destroying oneself, no one can become great.
  96. Always see and adopt others’ good qualities and never ever see others’ faults even in dreams.
  97. Silence, fasting, and pilgrimage purify our souls.
  98. Planning is as hard as formation/creation. Proper planning ensures the right creation.
  99. Worldly beings bless/help others with intention/purpose. But the Lord blesses without any intention/purpose.
  100. Forgiveness is austerity. No favor is above austerity/devotion.
  101. Always live your life with truth, knowledge, and reasoning.
